Dress Up – Princess!

It’s Princess week! Yay!

I love Disney and their Princesses, so I decided I would see if I could copy one. The most interesting (other than my favourite, Mulan whose Chinese style was hard to copy), was Snow White. All of the others just had block colour dresses which I thought would be cheating a bit!

Here she is…

So, I used my human Hunter to reproduce the look. I didn’t stick to mail, I used anything I could to get the right colours and style, so do forgive me.

Day 05 – Favourite item(s) in game

This is a tricky one as there’s so many things I love. It’s not very specific so I’ll do 3.

1. My wand. No, my wholewitchy transmog. I’ve finally finished it and I love it – I’ll do a more detailed post another time. I think it’s brilliant that you can turn awesome looking pieces of gear so yours look like it.

2. Mounts. This warrents a whole other post too, as I have lots of favourites – they’re like animals, I just couldn’t choose a favourite without feeling guilty!

3. The novelty archaeology items, like the war drums. Not worth anything but putting a touch of humour into the profession. Love it!

For me? Tier two Bloodfang set for rogues is g.o.r.g.e.o.u.s.

Black Temple

Mrs B: BT last night with some guildies. Allusion is a very small guild of regular players. We have been really lucky to get some very loyal people who are active and want to join in events. We like to run the old content for a variety of reasons: namely reminiscing, transmog and gear for twinks. Shameless pug though – we still need raid members (1 tank, 1 healer and 3 or so dps) for casual raid progression!

We took the opportunity to punch Illidan in the face last night, 4 of us altogether. It was rather satisfying! I managed to get a couple of pieces for my hunter transmog set and we had a nice team bonding moment.

I’m still not sure I like BT as a raid, I much prefer the mechanics of the WoTLK raids. More of that later!

Five fashionista minutes with Mrs B

I might upset some of you hardcore transmog farmers out there with this post, but I had to enthuse about my transmog early on.

I am by no means a pro. I have no idea what the different tiers are all about – I absorb some of Mr B’s chattering by osmosis but I don’t take an active interest. The fun of transmog, for me, is about the challenge of finding that perfect shade of purple to match my hat. Not grinding BC raids for drops… *yawn*.

Below is Louloutte, my main, a Gnome Mage. I am almost finished with my genius, but as you can see, finding a witch-y two handed staff is proving to be difficult. I have a star wand, which is amazing, but until I get two one-handers, its a no-go. Suggestions welcome!
